KAÇKAR BY UTMB: POST-RACE BLACK SEA EXPLORATION

This program offers the perfect post-Kaçkar by UTMB® experience for those who wish to explore the nature and cultural richness of the Black Sea region. Blending relaxing nature walks with immersive cultural encounters, this journey promises unforgettable memories.

Day 1 | Arrival at Çağlayan Village & Relaxation
We begin our program by welcoming guests to the picturesque village of Çağlayan. After check-in at the hotel, guests have free time to unwind and settle in. In the evening, we enjoy a delicious dinner at the hotel, followed by a special musical performance from Nena Vokal—a local women’s choir that performs traditional songs in Laz, Hemşin, and Turkish. It’s a soulful evening that reflects the true spirit of the region.

Day 2 | Nature Walks & Cultural Discovery
After breakfast at the hotel, we embark on a scenic hike through historic Laz mansions and forest trails. Along the way, we learn about the region’s unique natural landscape. Next, we explore the area's deep-rooted tea culture with a traditional tea tasting experience. By midday, we visit Meci Park and Biz Museum to discover more about the local way of life. The journey continues with stops at the Human Rights Monument and Emek Evi , offering a deeper look into the region’s cultural and historical legacy. We end the day with a local dinner at Aydın Boysan Social Facility and spend a restful night at the hotel.

Day 3 | Artvin’s Natural Wonders
Following breakfast, we set off to explore Hatila Valley in Artvin, a region rich in biodiversity and natural beauty. Our next stop is the serene Borçka Karagöl—a tranquil lake offering spectacular views. We then head to Murgul Deliklikaya Waterfall, one of the area’s most stunning waterfalls. For lunch, we taste the region’s famous Cağ Kebab, a highlight of local cuisine. In the evening, we visit the iconic Atatürk Monument and the Hatila Glass Terrace, offering panoramic views over the valley. We return to Fındıklı for dinner and overnight accommodation.

Day 4 | Farewell with the Nature of Arhavi
On our final day, after breakfast at the hotel and completing check-out procedures, we set off towards Arhavi. We begin the day by visiting the stunning Mençuna Waterfall, nestled in the enchanting nature of the Black Sea region. Then, we take a short walk at the historic Çifte Köprü (Twin Bridges), soaking in the spirit of the region accompanied by the sound of the flowing stream. In Dikyamaç Village, we visit the Lifestyle Museum, where we explore the cultural texture of the area through artifacts and stories reflecting traces of the past. Around noon, we enjoy a pleasant lunch break in Lome, savoring fresh trout in a peaceful, nature-filled setting.
